Just Show Up!

It’s Spring and we’ve received a special gift of 60 degree temperatures here in southern Rhode Island! As I did errands in town I noticed the daffodil shoots bursting through the ground, the pansies poking their heads up, and buds on the trees along Main Street.

It is amazing how the simple pleasures of sunshine, warm temperatures, and seeing the tangible signs of Spring lift my spirits and make me feel that “anything is possible.”

Essential Life Lessons from Lindsey Vonn

OK I’ll admit it — I became a Winter Oympics junkie, sitting in my living room totally into watching the amazing feats of these athletes. One athlete in particular captured my imagination, Lindsey Vonn the women’s downhill skier.

As I listened to her story and watched her compete, I couldn’t help but get a few life lessons from Lindsey and her gold medal victory.
